Acts 11v19-30 - The Missionary Church

The Church in Antioch shows us that we shouldn't just be receivers, but givers too; not just being served but serving. This is the church following the footsteps of her Saviour. In Antioch they expressed this by sending economic support to their brothers and sisters in Jerusalem - giving to those who had given to them. A timely reminder ahead of our CWI gift day on 11 December.
