Where do Ferndale Tax Dollars go

Let's begin with the winter twenty twenty four taxes. 45¢ went to Oakland County Transit. Thirty one cents went to Oakland County Parks and Recreation. Ten cents went to the Huron Clinton Metropolitan Authority. Nine cents went to the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Five cents went to the zoo authority. Now let's talk about the summer twenty twenty four property taxes. 47¢ went to the city of Ferndale. This covered areas like police, fire, recreation, public works, the forty third District Court, city hall, garbage, recycling, and yard waste, the twenty fifteen streets and parks bond, the publicity tax, the George w Coons storm drain, and stormwater and pollution treatment. 30¢ went to Oakland County.
