Conquered by Love - Part 2 | Pr Raph | May 25, 2025
Notes
In this week’s message from 2 Corinthians 2, we explored how God’s love conquers our pride, bitterness, and division through the radical power of forgiveness. Paul calls the church to embody reconciliation, not just in doctrine but in active restoration—countering Satan’s schemes with grace. True Christian leadership is not about charisma or status but about surrender to Christ. Paul presents himself as a captive in Christ’s triumphal procession, not defeated but victorious in service, spreading the fragrance of the gospel.
The message challenges us to remain sincere in our ministry—rejecting the commercialization of faith and standing firm in a culture that often treats church as a consumer good. The gospel, Paul reminds us, is not a product to be sold, but a gift freely given. To some, this fragrance is life; to others, judgment. Our calling is to preach it faithfully, in love and truth, knowing that God uses all things—even suffering—for His redemptive purpose.
