Notes
The audio you are about to hear is from a series of lectures Rabbi Fohrman gave in 1997. The lecture asks the question “Why do we read the story of Jonah on Yom Kippur?” The journey through the text that Rabbi Fohrman leads you on has some unexpected stops and will both entertain and enlighten you. Pay close attention, because as you listen you will hear the seeds of one of our most loved videos growing like the kikayon, but in our case there was no worm. Or rather, there was a worm, but it only nibbled a bit.
You may notice that about half way through the lecture gets disjointed, that was when the cassette tape was flipped. In the meantime, make sure your flux-capacitor is functioning, because we are going on a trip Back to the Future.
